Week 4--Elder Stott
Hello family,
This week has been a good one. We got to go out golfing this morning. It was pretty sweet. We had the owner along with us, coaching us on our shots and everything. It was pretty fun.
We are working hard here in Couva. We have been trying to meet a lot of people, and we have met a few really cool people. We are just hoping to be able to help them to progress towards baptism.
I really love serving with Elder Stott. We are having a really good time together, and I feel like we are doing our best here.
I have a testimony of being ambitious in this work. I know that sometimes we give a half effort, but that just doesn't feel right in the end. What really feels good is to be ambitious in all aspects of the work. It is a good feeling to be so tired when you go home that you can fall asleep so fast. It's hard to give a lot of effort to be effectively finding, teaching, working with members, and baptizing, but I know that it is worth it, and it feels so good.
A spiritual experience I had this week was in seeing the excitement of a few of our young men to be called as ward missionaries. They were already talking with us about their plans to come out with us and help us to do missionary work. I am excited to work with them and to further this work even more.

Week 93--Couva, Trinidad
Week 3--Elder Stott
Hello family,
We are doing great here in Couva. We were able to do a lot of work with some members this week, and it was pretty positive. There are a lot of great members here in Couva, and it has been very helpful getting to know where they live and also where the recent converts live.
Elder Stott is amazing. I am always impressed by the work he does. He is humble, and he shares this message with great power and authority. It has been really nice to be able to see that this week, and that has helped me to see how I can continue to improve in my work.
I have a testimony of the work of the members. I love it when we get to go with members to share this gospel. It really strengthens my testimony to see different members sacrificing their time to come with us, and they are always happy to do so. I love being able to work with them and to hear their personal testimonies of this restored gospel.
My spiritual experience this week was the work we were able to do with our ward mission leader. He came out with us all day on Friday, and at church on Sunday, he sat with our investigator and he went around to different members scheduling times when they could come out teaching with us to specific investigators. He also started organizing an activity that we can use as a finding tool, and the members are already excited about it. I am so excited to keep working with him. He really helps us in our work to be more and more effective.

Week 92--Couva, Trinidad
Week 2--Elder Stott
Hello family,
This week was a great week. I am really loving it here in Trinidad!
We are doing our best here in Couva. We are meeting a lot of people every week, and this week, we've had a lot of fun contacting with the Book of Mormon. That's something I want to improve on.
Elder Stott is a great companion. I am really enjoying it a lot. He has had a lot of great ideas that we've been able to try this week. We were able to go on splits twice this week, and it was really, really good. I enjoyed it so much. It is so fun to work with the members that way.
I have a testimony of the power of the Book of Mormon. We had a few experiences this week that showed me how the Book of Mormon is not only a great tool for the gathering of Israel, but it also helps us weed out the elect. When some people realized that the Book of Mormon was different from the Bible, they completely changed. They didn't want to hear about it anymore. But some people just lit up when they saw it, and they were so excited to receive it. I am so grateful for the Book of Mormon. I know it is true.
A spiritual experience I had this week was when our investigator, Suresh, came to church yesterday. Just to see the members all introducing themselves to him and telling him how happy they were to have him as a part of the ward was really nice. He wants to come again next week. I am so grateful for the love and fellowship we can receive as part of this church.

We are doing good here in Couva. We were also able to start to work in Chaguanas this week as well, and we were able to find some really cool people there. We are excited to be able to work in both areas in their centers of strength.
I really love working with Elder Stott. It has been such a fun first week together. I am really excited to see what wonders we'll be able to be a part of here. Elder Stott is such a good missionary. I'm already thankful for the input he's had here.
I have a testimony of contacting. We had a lot of time to contact this week, but I know that the Lord is pleased when we are out there looking for his children. I always feel good when I am able to make contact with another of God's children. I just love being able to meet so many of my fellow brothers and sisters.
A spiritual experience I had this week was pretty simple, but it was very wonderful. Yesterday, we were having some fall-throughs, and we were wondering who we should visit, so Elder Stott read off some names, and he read a name of a person whose name had come into my head earlier that day. I felt we should go visit him, so we did. He was there for the first time in about 3 or 4 weeks. It was a powerful Restoration lesson, and this man had made so much progress since the last time we were there. I am so grateful for that spiritual prompting.
